Dust soppression

From the articles that appear regularly in the newspapers of the most polluted cities in Italy, we often rejoice in an atmospheric event that radically changes the quality of the air and allows us to avoid boring, but not very useful, traffic blocks. The rain, sometimes annoying, is instead hailed as a cure-all. In fact, it has been established that asthma, cardio-pulmonary diseases and decreased lung function are pathologies related to fine dust pollution. While the coarser and heavier particles such as PM7, PM10 and TSP settle quickly, the finer particles, such as PM2.5 and PM1, remain in the air for a long time.
So the rain that washes the air is welcome.
